收留这只小鸭子 Lizz 分享到：“它初来乍到时，我们真的没办法确定它是不是能够正常行走，不过我们心想鸭子喜欢水，于是先帮它洗了个澡，看看它的脚还能不能动，原本我们不抱太大期望，但没想到它的脚还能够移动，根据我们判断应该是神经受到损伤。”
当收容所知道鸭子的神经收到损伤后，便开始和动物义肢公司协商，为小鸭子订制了特殊的专用助行器！而这只可爱的小鸭子 Kiwi 也透过助行器，慢慢学习自己行动。

特别的是，小鸭子的助行器还分成室内专用和室外越野专用！室内用的只有两轮，而越野用的则有 4 个轮子，能够适应户外的各种地形。收养小鸭子的 Lizz 笑说：“它的助行器看起来很梦幻，颜色都很鲜艳，很适合它！也多亏有助行器，让它的双腿更加有力，能够走得更快，Kiwi 看起来也相当满意，每天都活泼的到处行走。”
